CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — A 13-year-old girl reported missing from Corpus Christi is now part of a national missing-child record.

Her name is Ameira Love Licea.

According to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC), Ameira has been missing from Corpus Christi since October 22, 2026.

As of October 28, her photograph and identifying information remain displayed on NCMEC’s official missing-child website.

Six days have passed since her listed missing date.

The Texas Public Record is sharing Ameira’s information so more people have an opportunity to recognize her photograph and direct any relevant information to authorities.

A 13-Year-Old Girl Who Deserves to Be Found

At 13, Ameira is still a child.

Her photograph shows a young girl whose face may be recognizable to someone who has encountered her.

That possibility is why sharing verified missing-child information matters.

Someone may have seen her without knowing she was missing. Someone may recognize her name. Someone may have information that seems insignificant but could help investigators establish where she has been.

There is no guarantee that sharing a photograph will produce an answer. But making accurate information accessible gives the public an opportunity to assist.

For Ameira, that opportunity remains important.

What the Official Missing-Child Record Confirms

NCMEC identifies the following information:

The official record states that Ameira was last seen on October 22.

It does not publicly establish the specific location where she was last seen, the circumstances surrounding her disappearance or her present whereabouts.

Those details matter because a missing-child notice should never become an invitation to speculate.

The available record does not establish that Ameira was abducted, that she left voluntarily, that a crime occurred or that any particular person was involved.

Until authorities provide verified information, those questions must remain unanswered.

Why Her Photograph Matters

A missing-child photograph is more than an image accompanying a news article.

It is one of the most immediate ways the public can help recognize someone who may need assistance.

A reader in Corpus Christi may recognize Ameira. Someone elsewhere in Texas may encounter her photograph after a friend or relative shares it.

That recognition could prompt someone to contact investigators with information.

But responsible sharing is essential.

Use the official photograph and identifying information provided by NCMEC. Avoid circulating rumors, unverified sightings or allegations about individuals who may have known her.

If you believe you have seen Ameira, report the information directly to authorities rather than posting her possible location publicly.

Even information that appears minor may be worth reporting.

Investigators, not social-media commenters, are responsible for determining whether a reported sighting is relevant.

Six Days Without a Public Answer

October 22 was a Thursday.

By Wednesday, October 28, six days had elapsed since Ameira’s listed disappearance date.

The public record provides a date, a city, a photograph and an investigating agency.

It does not tell the public what Ameira has experienced during that time.

It does not explain what her family has been told, what investigators have learned or what steps may be underway.

The absence of those details should not be filled with assumptions.

It should reinforce the importance of reporting what is known accurately and keeping attention on the information that could help locate her.

She is 13 years old, and the official missing-child listing remains active.

That is sufficient reason to ask Texans to pay attention.

Keeping Ameira’s Name Visible

Missing-child coverage must never become a competition for attention.

Every child whose whereabouts are unknown deserves to be treated as a person, not a headline or a statistic.

Ameira Love Licea is 13 years old.

She has a name, a face and a life beyond the information contained in a missing-child notice.

The public does not need to know every detail of her personal circumstances to understand why finding her matters.

For now, the most useful thing Texans can do is recognize her photograph, share verified information responsibly and report anything that could assist investigators.

Ameira has been missing from Corpus Christi since October 22, 2026.

If you know something that could help locate her, please contact authorities.

A child deserves the chance to return safely to the people who care about her.

And until there is verified news about her whereabouts, her name deserves to remain visible.
