BURLESON, Texas — Kyle Chaney has a name, a face and a place in a community where someone may recognize him.

He also has a missing-child case that remains publicly listed by the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC).

Kyle has been missing from Burleson, Texas, since June 19, 2025. He is now 17 years old.

More than a year has passed since the date of his disappearance. Yet the central question remains unanswered in the public information reviewed for this report: Where is Kyle?

A Missing Child Who Still Needs to Be Found

For families and communities, a missing-child notice represents more than a photograph and a date. It represents a young person whose whereabouts remain unknown and whose safe location matters.

NCMEC identifies Kyle Chaney under case number 2054152. His National Crime Information Center reference is M908488924.

The organization’s individual missing-child poster remains publicly accessible and continues to identify him as missing.

That official listing provides a way for people to recognize Kyle and pass potentially useful information to investigators.

An Important Warning From Authorities

Kyle’s NCMEC poster includes an explicit public-safety warning:

If Kyle is located, do not approach him. Contact law enforcement immediately.

The warning should be followed without exception.

The public notice does not explain the circumstances behind that instruction. It would be inappropriate to speculate about Kyle’s behavior, the circumstances of his disappearance or the reason authorities issued the warning.

Anyone who believes they have seen Kyle should avoid attempting to confront, follow or detain him. Instead, contact law enforcement and provide the location and other relevant observations.

What the Public Can Do

A person who recognizes Kyle may hold information that could help investigators determine his whereabouts.

Even information that appears minor may be worth reporting through the appropriate official channels.

The Burleson Police Department is the investigating agency identified on NCMEC’s poster.

Anyone with information about Kyle Chaney can contact:

Burleson Police Department: 817-426-9903

Call 911 if an immediate emergency exists.

Keeping Kyle’s Name Visible

The passage of time should not make a missing child disappear from public attention.

There is no need to invent a story about what happened to Kyle or assume details that investigators have not publicly established. The verified facts are enough to justify continued awareness: he has been missing since June 19, 2025, his official case remains listed, and authorities are asking the public to report information while observing a specific safety precaution.

Someone may recognize his face. Someone may know where he is.

That information belongs with investigators.

Kyle Chaney deserves to be found, and the public can help by sharing accurate information responsibly.
